Dr. Kurt Hochenauer gave a lot of helpful advice to us as bloggers. A few things I got from his speech was to make sure you find a niche to blog about, be a good writer, and write interesting articles to grab the audiences attention. Without doing these things you risk not getting the traffic needed to monetize your blog if that is your goal. You don't want a blog that is boring or doing a niche that is crowded. You want unique good content and post frequently. By doing this you will get the traffic you want.

What is Cam's Hot Seat?

Cam's Hot Seat is a crazy idea I thought of while in this blogging class. At first it was a fun little idea just for the class, but then I thought to myself I might as well try to make a little extra cash off of it. People will get some cold hard facts on top of news that I came across during the week.

My goal creating this site is to be one of the first people to create nice unique content people will love reading and getting something new from the story. Leave a comment for suggestions for my site and I am open for any changes anyone commenting may have.
